Explore your Creative Edge

Push through your art process!

Have you ever pushed the the limits of your comfort zone?

Many times I have resisted going down this path. It can feel frankly quite frightening at times. Better stay with what you know. And yet there's a persistent inner voice that gently bids you to explore your edge.

Are you familiar with this inner voice? Here's an example from my own experience. I remember clearly having this subtle inner nudge that requested me to focus on the holistic healing system of homeopathy. I ignored this directive from my inner 'breadcrumb trail' until I fell flat on my face - in a manner of speech - and ended up needing to see a homeopath myself! That was how my homeopathy journey began. Experience has since taught me to fully trust this inconspicuous, yet profoundly knowing inner voice and heed its call. I've found that is the only way to grow and embody the person you're meant to become. Everything you need is inside you. You just need to be aware and pay close attention.

It never ceases to amaze me how things show up in my life just when I need them. These moments of synchronicity manifest in unexpected ways. Perhaps, as you pick up the book that's just fallen out of your hand, a certain phrase jumps out at you that profoundly answers something you've been struggling with, or you serendipitously bump into a person who ends up being the missing link in a project that you weren't able to move forward with. You just never know what auspicious surprises will come your way! I find these moments happen more often when I'm willing to step out of my comfort zone. I believe that's because out on the edge, you're simply more present and that much more aware. What moments of synchronicity have you experienced?
