LET GO ABSTRACT ART COLLECTION

Mystical Painting Reflections

AWAKENING THE HEART

An art collection that emerged during the Corona pandemic in 2022. Drawing on Islam’s very rich spiritual heritage, it reflects on the facets of faith, in these times of global chaos and the fleeting nature of the material world. This body of work poured out of me after my return from a deeply personal spiritual retreat.

Vital Surge is one of the paintings from my newest Let Go abstract art collection.

ART FOR THE SOUL

Paintings to meditate upon. This series was inspired by a tiny delicate flower that presented itself to me twice on two different locations during my retreat. It seemed to be conveying a powerfully meaningful message. I have learned to pay attention to these serendipitous encounters. I was profoundly touched when I noticed it as I had never seen it before. What we need to hear is communicated to us in mysterious ways.

POETIC MUSINGS

Introspections on the delicate thread connecting us to the Divine. Swirling and whirling - the material realm threatens to pull us out of our centre and away from our true nature. Our fleeting glimpses of the deep silent unfathomable depths within give us hope. There is something much greater at work here.

Dance of Life is mixed media painting on paper featuring an abstract tree.
Paintings from the Let Go abstract art collection are framed and ready to hang.

FRAMED & READY TO HANG

You will receive your original painting framed and ready to hang in your favourite spot at home. The artwork is enhanced by the light neutral cradle frame with a double matting that gently draws you inwards as you gaze on this work. Have your chosen work of art delivered to wherever you are in the world for free. I want this for you.

SAY YES QUICKLY

Forget your life. Say God is Great. Get up.
You think you know what time it is. It’s time to pray.
You’ve carved so many little figurines, too many.
Don’t knock on any random door like a beggar.
Reach your long hand out to another door, beyond where
You go on the street, the street
where everyone says, “How are you?”
and no one says How aren’t you?

Tomorrow you’ll see what you’ve broken and torn tonight,
thrashing in the dark. Inside you
there’s an artist you don’t know about.
He’s not interested in how things look different in moonlight.

If you are here unfaithfully with us,
you’re causing terrible damage.
If you’ve opened your loving to God’s love,
you’re helping people you don’t know
and have never seen.

Is what I say true? Say yes quickly,
if you know, if you’ve known it
from before the beginning of the universe.
